DSG system PC (server)

Hardware

  • CPU: tower PC or rack server, late model processor, 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, CD-ROM drive
  • Internet access
  • DAT backup system
  • NIC
  • Mouse
  • Keyboard
  • Monitor

Software

  • DSG database management system (provided by DSG)
  • Supported operating systems: Red Hat Linux (preferred); SCO/Unix; Windows NT
  • Local Area Network communication method: Ethernet TCP/IP protocols

Biller PC

  • Windows 98 or later
  • Telnet
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or later

Transfer PC

(Used for transmitting claims to the fiscal intermediaries; may be an existing PC or a stand-alone.)
