DSG integreates with the Medicare/VisionShare
MEIC and DDE File Interface to the CMS MEIC database for eligibility,
and to DDE for providing an automated claims-status inquiry. Our
interface allows you to automate the eligiblity process and identify
errors prior to submission, resulting in less follow-up and faster
payment.
Also, any claims that have a claim status as anything other than
PAID by Medicare willl be reloaded into the DSG system for additional
corrections or editing. This allows you to correct any pending claims
on the DSG system -- giving you the corrected claim information
on the DSG system and allowing you a faster, status-based editing
process.
DSG Image Interface
The DSG image interface provides the capabiltiy to post claims,
RA and other specialized reports to a hospital-based imaging system.
Reports
Reports can be imaged to be viewed with report-reading software
such as Monarch. This allows you to view all the standard DSG reports
on a PC, rather than in printed format -- allowing for easier access
and storage of historical report data.
Posted Messages
DSG can create specialized messages -- such as the date and amount
a claim was billed -- to be posted to the hospital host computer
system. This allows any person with access to the host computer
system to see this data in the patient record.
Non-Covered Benefit Write-Off
DSG can extract non-covered charges for claims, and generate a
write-off posting file. This facilitates a more accurate Accounts
Receivable.
